tiny warblers!

Yes, it is a wonderful name for some of the cutest soft+stuffed pieces i have seen. The adorable hippo, elephant, whale, and owl by Tiny Warbler are accented with cotton fabric of assorted designs. Each one varies and has hand embroidered accents and stuffed with polyfill. Super cute!

a little about the designer:
kate keeler of tinywarbler designs makes small, soft animals by hand from her original patterns. each one is lovingly stitched by hand in vancouver, bc. by combining materials such as wool, cashmere and japanese cottons, her little animals are modern but can also evoke a feeling of nostalgia. her work has been featured on various websites and blogs as well as magazines such as canadian house & home and canadian home & country.

earnest effort | handmade wooden shakers

these woodsy shakers have already become a great seller at fawnandforest , and whats even better is that the couple that produce them are also very sweet people hailing from Olalla Valley in oregon. Earnest effort has created a product that uses the classic function of a shaker, a must for any child, and combined the toy with something that not only feels good to the touch but is beautifull to look at. thanks guys! check out the Q&A.

Each hand crafted wood rattles is filled with lentils or beans and is available in 6 woods - walnut, myrtle, curly maple, chinkapin oak, madrone, and cherry. Made of wood that would have otherwise been scraps or of wood that has been reclaimed. They each have beautiful tones for musical accompaniment and are hand-sanded to a fine, smooth texture. Roughly measures 5"x2".
