sleeping forest | set of handmade tops

These little tops, which measure about 2" round, have been beautifully handturned and colored on the lathe. Each top is uniquely shaped and spins a little differently. With a little practice, the tops will even spin upside-down as well. check em out

a little about the designers:
Jai and Lauren Soloy of Sleeping Forest Studios make high quality handcrafted wooden objects in their small but mighty shop in rural Nova Scotia, Canada. Both love to visit the city, but are most happy in their big old house in their small quiet town, surrounded by cats and bunnies and good books.

dress me up | organic teething bonbon

Every parent knows the discomfort that teething causes their little one and want a safe, convenient ways to sooth the pain. What could be more fun and helpful than a teething soother that’s free of plastics and brings to mind French sweets? Each Teething Bonbon™ is made from certified organic cotton flannel, sweetly stitched with delicious colours, stuffed with naturally anti-bacterial wool and finished off with two knots.

It is as simple as the baby chewing on the frozen knots to help ease teething pain. The wool centre keeps baby’s hand warm while the limited frozen area means no drippy mess.
